*Grant FundedQUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree and DESE Educator LicensureREPORTS TO: Director of Curriculum and InstructionRESPONSIBILITIES:Under the direction of the Director of Curriculum and Instruction the Lead Teacher shall:Provide leadership with the implementation of the SEL support in the progress efficiency and quality of curriculum with the building principals and Director of Curriculum and Instruction regarding teacher questions and/or PLC meetings as needed and coordinate activities among grade level teachersWork with building principals and Director of Curriculum and Instruction to make specific recommendations regarding SEL program meetings outside of the regular work day as any other duties that may be assigned by the Director of Curriculum and OF EMPLOYMENT:Must be available after the school dayPart-time employmentSALARY: Stipend - $2200 per school year DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: Start Date: Immediately End Date: June 30 2025 EVALUATION:Performance on this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Westfield School Committees policy on REQUIREMENTS:Work is generally conducted within school buildings. Ability to travel throughout the school building is necessary. Position involves sitting and the ability to travel from one place to another within the classroom. Work is light in nature with regular lifting of up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds with some pulling and pushing or reaching above generally of desk and file drawers. Frequent use of hands to operate keyboards and telephones and other office equipment. Regular attendance is an essential function of this position is subject to funding.
