About The Service and Team
Our Parenting Team is passionate about supporting families through every stage of their parenting journey. We believe that parents and carers play a vital role in shaping their childrens lives and were here to celebrate that rolewhile also offering a helping hand when challenges arise. Our team delivers a wide range of evidence-based programmes both in person and online designed to build confidence strengthen relationships and support child development. We work closely with multi-agency partners to ensure families can access the right support at the right time and were proud to foster welcoming inclusive spaces where parents can connect learn and grow together.
About the Role
As a Parenting Worker you will deliverinteractive evidence-based parenting support programmesbothface-to-face and online helping parents and carers build confidence and strengthen family relationships. You will work closely withmulti-agency partnersto promote and deliver Cornwalls support offer to families across the region.
What Youll Do
- Facilitate interactive parenting programmes and workshops
- Support families to access and engage with
- Collaborate with professionals across health education and social care as well as community organisations
- Use digital tools to deliver and track support effectively
What Youll Need To Succeed
- A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong IT skills and comfort with online delivery platforms
- A solid understanding ofchild developmentand thechallenges families face
- Experience working with families or in a community support setting is a plus
