Reports to: VP of Talent (at HQ in UK)

Location: Munich Germany

Office Policy: Hybrid 3 days in office 2 days remote (flexible)

About The Role

As Talent Acquisition Manager youll be responsible for scaling our entire German team. From growth marketing to partnerships customer experience to creative youll lead end-to-end hiring across a wide range of roles and functions.

Youll partner closely with hiring managers across the business to find world-class talent fast all while delivering an exceptional candidate experience and maintaining a deep understanding of the German talent landscape.

This is a high-impact standalone role in Germany ideal for someone who thrives in autonomy and loves building from scratch.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Own Recruitment for Germany: Lead all hiring efforts across our German business from kick-off to offer.
  • Build Scalable Hiring Processes: Establish recruiting best practices that reflect Omaze values and meet local compliance.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers: Provide expert guidance on role scoping job ads interviews and candidate selection.
  • Source Top Talent: Use a mix of platforms (LinkedIn job boards direct outreach events) to build a high-quality pipeline.
  • Champion Candidate Experience: Ensure every candidate feels valued informed and engaged throughout the process.
  • Track and Report: Maintain accurate recruiting metrics progress reports and hiring dashboards.
  • Stay Compliant: Ensure all hiring practices align with German labor laws and Omaze standards.

About You

  • Youve led full-cycle recruitment in Germany ideally for a start-up or fast-growth scale-up.
  • Youre comfortable recruiting across multiple functions including marketing operations creative and partnerships.
  • Youre a confident partner to hiring managers able to challenge thinking and influence outcomes.
  • You bring strong sourcing skills and know how to creatively tap into passive talent markets.
  • Youre organized proactive and love juggling multiple roles with efficiency.
  • You understand German employment law and hiring compliance (or can quickly get up to speed).
  • Fluent in German and English (essential).

Our hiring process

Our hiring process may vary between roles particularly for technical roles where we may incorporate a technical skills/based interview but as standard youll have:

Screening call with one of our in-house Talent Leads

First stage interview with the Hiring Manager

On-site second stage interview with key stakeholders this could be other managers peers or Senior team members.

Final stage interview with one of our Execs.

On average our hiring process takes around 2-3 weeks after your initial screening call.
