We are a boutique village style not-for-profit facility located in Roselands seeking an enthusiastic and proactive full-time Assistant Accountant.

About the role
Our staff work holistically to provide high-quality care and services to our residents based on interactions that are engaging compassionate and considerate to their individual needs preferences identity culture & diversity.

- Process accounts payable and receivable including resident billing and supplier payments.
- Reconcile bank accounts weekly and assist with payroll when required.
- Maintain reconcile of various accounts on regular basis.
- Liaise with Services Australia and Medicare on payment related matters.
- Assist with monthly reports budgets and audits.
- Maintain ATO compliance assist with PAYG and BAS.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Other ad-hoc tasks
Skills & Experience
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting or higher
- 2 years local experience in accounting ideally in aged care or NFP sector.
- Knowledge of different billing software is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MYOB/Xero and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail communication and integrity.
- Eager to learn and grow.
- Hold a current Police Check.
