Note:This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at our clients Charlotte NC office.
Note:The qualified candidate for this position must have a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in North Carolina (or ability to obtain within 6 months).

Job Description
Our client is seeking an experiencedRoadway Design Project Managerto join their Charlotte team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional ready to lead high-impact transportation projects collaborate directly with clients and mentor junior engineers.
- Manage roadway design projects including highways arterials intersections and interchanges
- Oversee project budgets schedules scopes and deliverables
- Ensure compliance with NCDOT and FHWA standards
- Build and maintain strong client relationships serving as primary point of contact
- Lead proposal development and contribute to business development activities
- Mentor and train junior engineering staff
- Utilize design software such as MicroStation GeoPak and Open Roads
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
- P.E. license in NC (or ability to secure within 6 months)
- 10 years of roadway design and project management experience
- Strong background with MicroStation GeoPak Open Roads CAD and Microsoft Office
- Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated success in business development and proposal preparation
