We are looking for a Software Test Manager who oversees the testing process within a software development project. He/she is responsible for planning coordinating and managing all testing activities to ensure software quality.
What you will do:
Planning and Strategy: Develop a comprehensive test plan and strategy for the project. This involves understanding the project requirements defining the testing scope and determining the appropriate methodologies and techniques.
Team Management: Assign tasks coordinate resources and monitor teams progress. Ensure all team members are well-trained and equipped to perform their testing activities efficiently. Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment to enhance productivity and morale.
Test Execution: Oversee the execution of test cases in coordination with software developers business analysts and other stakeholders. Prioritize and schedule testing activities to ensure all deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards. Monitor results and provide timely feedback to the team.
Defect Management: Lead the defect management processdocument track and resolve bugs discovered during testing. Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure timely issue resolution.
Communication and Reporting: Ensure clear communication between the testing team project stakeholders and other involved departments. Provide regular updates on progress highlight risks or issues and keep all stakeholders informed on testing status.
Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the testing team. Encourage learning the adoption of best practices and staying updated with the latest testing methodologies and technologies.
