Description du poste
Nous recherchons une spcialiste de ladministration des RH temps plein pour rejoindre notre quipe du SUO. Le ou la spcialiste de ladministration des RH effectue diverses tches RH administratives pour aider la directrice RH et la directrice gnrale assurer le bon droulement des oprations. Le ou la candidate idale doit avoir dexcellentes comptences organisationnelles le souci du dtail et la capacit de traiter des informations sensibles en toute confidentialit. Ce poste requiert de solides comptences en communication et la capacit dinteragir efficacement avec les employes tous les niveaux de lorganisation.
Responsabilits:
  • Tenir les dossiers des employes et sassurer que tous les documents sont jour et exacts
  • Traiter les dossiers RH confidentiels avec discrtion et professionnalisme
  • Coordonner et grer les programmes dintgration et dorientation des employes y compris la prparation des documents pour les employes entrantes et lorganisation de sances de formation RH Downloads
  • Administrer les programmes de prestations des employes comme lassurance maladie lassurance dentaire et lassurance vie
  • Assister les projets et initiatives RH qui lui sont attribus
  • Communiquer aux employes les mises jour et annonces relatives aux RH
  • Faciliter les entrevues de dpart et conseiller lquipe des finances au sujet du dernier jour de travail des employes
  • Fournir un soutien administratif gnral la directrice RH et la directrice gnrale notamment en planifiant les runions en prparant la correspondance et en mettant jour les bases de donnes et les dossiers des employes
  • Grer les cycles complets de rotation du personnel y compris la cration et la publication de descriptions de poste le recrutement lembauche lintgration et le dpart
  • Administrer et grer le logiciel HUMI et les bases de donnes pour saisir mettre jour et rcuprer les donnes relatives aux employes. Produire des rapports et analyser des donnes pour faciliter la prise de dcision et identifier les tendances ou les domaines ncessitant une attention particulire
  • Organiser des opportunits de dveloppement professionnel pour le personnel en coordination avec la directrice RH
  • Collaborer avec le dpartement des finances pour assurer un traitement rigoureux et rapide des salaires
  • Assister les employes pour linscription aux prestations les changements et les questions
  • Prsider le Comit de sant et de scurit
Qualifications:
  • 1 3ans dexprience en ressources humaines ou dans un domaine connexe
  • Le bilinguisme dans les deux langues officielles de lUniversit dOttawa est un atout
  • Une exprience de travail dans ou pour un syndicat serait un atout
  • Capacit dadaptation et volont de travailler selon un horaire flexible notamment loccasion le soir et la fin de semaine
  • Exprience de travail dans un environnement syndiqu
  • Connaissance approfondie des normes demploi et de la Loi sur les normes demploi
  • Solides comptences organisationnelles
  • Capacit travailler en autonomie et en quipe
  • La connaissance dOutlook de Microsoft Teams et dExcel est requise

HR Admin Specialist

Job Description
We are seeking a full-time HR Administrative Specialist to join our UOSU team. The HR Administrator will be responsible for performing various HR administrative tasks to support theHR Director and Executive Director to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accurate
  • Handle confidential HR files with discretion and professionalism
  • Coordinate and manage employee onboarding and orientation programs including preparing new hire paperwork and facilitating HR Downloads training sessions
  • Administer employee benefits programs such as health dental and life insurance
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives assigned
  • Communicating HR-related updates and announcements to employees
  • Facilitating exit interviews and advising the Finance team about employees final workday
  • Providing general administrative support to the HR Director and Executive Director such as scheduling meetings preparing correspondence and updating employee databases and records
  • Manage full turnover cycles including creating and posting job descriptions recruitment hiring onboarding and offboarding
  • Administer and manage HUMI software and databases to input update and retrieve employee data. Generate reports and analyze data to support decision-making and identify trends or areas that require attention
  • Organize professional development opportunities for staff in coordination with the HR Director
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment changes and queries
  • Chair the health and safety committee
Qualifications:
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in human resources or related field
  • Bilingualism in both official languages of the University of Ottawa is an asset
  • Experience working in or for a labor union would be an asset
  • Adaptable and willing to work flexible hours including on occasioneveningsand weekends
  • Experience working in a unionized environment
  • Strong knowledge of current employment standards and the ESA
  • Strongorganizationalskills
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of Outlook Microsoft Teams and Excel is required
