Overview:
Full-time Fixed-term position (2 years)
Salary Level HEW 9 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements
Based on the Melbourne CBD campus however may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University.
About You
The Manager of Education Solution Design and Activation is tasked with ensuring the success of both domestic and international education delivery projects with a primary focus on the ASEAN region. This role involves close collaboration with executive and senior leaders to develop effective education solutions oversee project implementation enhance learning and teaching practices and provide comprehensive student services.
Key responsibilities include conducting needs analysis to identify stakeholders and their learning requirements allowing for informed recommendations on suitable solutions. The manager will also collaborate with various stakeholders to create tailored training initiatives that leverage CoVEs product suite. Additionally they will adapt existing products to enable flexible delivery formats such as online and hybrid models.
Moreover the manager will map the necessary architecture for delivering identified solutions ensuring that all resources and system requirements are in place. They will evaluate operational readiness and financial risks while establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting frameworks to track progress and impact. Finally the manager will apply best practices and innovative approaches to continually enhance and future-proof the solutions provided.
To be successful in this position youll have as a minimum:
Experience in Education or Training Solution Design experience designing effective education or workforce training solutions through adapting existing products frameworks and delivery models (e.g. accredited courses micro credentials short courses) to meet stakeholder requirements.
Strategic use of existing capabilities ability to leverage and adapt existing training products services and capabilities to meet client or industry needs while ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.
Stakeholder Engagement ability to work independently with stakeholders to identify underlying needs communicate with influence and facilitate codesign. Proven experience engaging a diverse range of stakeholdersincluding industry government educators and learnersto inform solution development.
Knowledge of learning design principles familiarity with contemporary instructional design and digital pedagogy to ensure learning effectiveness particularly for adult and workplace learners.
Project planning and implementation readiness - ability to develop clear implementation plans including timelines resources and risk mitigation strategies to enable transition from concept to delivery.
Commercial acumen foundation level understanding of financial regulatory and operational factors in education settings with the ability to assess feasibility cost-effectiveness and delivery impact of proposed solutions.
Leading with influence capability to work with cross functional project teams to deliver commercially viable projects in adult education settings. Demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes manage priorities and foster a positive collaborative team environment.
Communication and reporting skills excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to present solution proposals produce clear documentation and report to executive stakeholders.
Relevant experience in a tertiary environment is desirable.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications and extensive experience in leading projects are mandatory particularly in the ASEAN region.
A qualification/certification in Training and Assessment or similar with minimum holding accredited unit TAEDES511 (Design and develop strategies for training and assessment)
Project Management Methodology will be highly regarded (e.g. Grad Cert/Grad Diploma of PM Prince2 Agile)
