Procurement Analytics Coordinator
About the role
Join our team as a Procurement Analytics Coordinator where youll play a key role in advancing our REAL Foods mission by using data and analytics to drive smarter more efficient and cost-effective sourcing decisions.
What you will do
- Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders and requisitions for foodservice contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of food and supply purchases pricing and other relevant data.
- Evaluate and compare vendor quotations to ensure the best quality and pricing for food products and services.
- Communicate with suppliers to schedule deliveries and resolve any issues with food orders.
- Monitor stock levels of food supplies and identify purchasing needs.
- Update and maintain procurement databases and vendor information.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company in terms of food service requirements.
- Support the procurement team in negotiating contracts and terms with foodservice suppliers.
- Assist with comparison cost analysis and complementary products.
- Leverage Excel procurement software and enterprise systems with ease to analyze complex data sets generate actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel (pivot tables formulas data analysis) as a primary tool for managing and interpreting data with opportunities to gain exposure to business intelligence tools such as Power BI Tableau and SQL.
- Performs additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and business objectives.
Who you are
- Bachelors degree in business administration Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain role is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage Excel for large-scale data analysis trend identification and decision support.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Basic understanding of foodservice supply chain procedures.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Work Environment
The position is full-time and based in our office. Occasional travel to meet with foodservice suppliers may be required. We offer a collaborative and supportive environment where professional growth is encouraged.
Essential Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (up to 8 hours per day).
- Regular use of standard office equipment such as computers phones printers and copiers.
- Occasional lifting of files or office materials up to 15 pounds.
- Work is performed in a professional office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.
- May require occasional extended hours during month-end or year-end close or audit periods.
- Minimal travel may be required for meetings training or company events.
Salary range: $60000 - $75000 annually DOE
