Lotus Herbals is a leading skin care and cosmetics brand that combines nature and science. We are passionate about creating safe effective and natural beauty products. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Area Sales Executive to drive sales and manage channel partners in Calicut.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Targets & Achievements:
- Achieve monthly sales targets for product categories at the branch level.
- Ensure product-wise and category-wise sales growth.
- Implement a sales activation plan ( brand positioning) to enhance product visibility and drive sales.
Channel Management:
- Appoint necessary primary and secondary channel partners to meet business objectives.
- Strengthen and expand dealer and distributor networks (ND & WD) to improve market reach.
- Monitor and improve the health of existing channel partners (dealers/distributors).
- Plan for the expansion of reach in all town categories and ensure efficient channel partner management.
Process and Performance:
- Achieve sales targets as per monthly commitments.
- Manage reduction of ROD (Receivables Outstanding Days) in line with the set Norms
- Conduct market and competition analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Lead and maximize team productivity in line with business goals.
- Conduct sales admin tasks such as reporting forecasting and performance tracking.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead a team and provide mentorship and guidance on all business processes.
- Track and nurture potential leaders within the team for future growth opportunities.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Foster strong interpersonal relationships among team members and ensure high employee engagement.
Cross-functional Coordination:
- Ensure smooth collaboration between Sales SS (Logistics) and Business Development Executive for efficient functioning.
- Drive interdepartmental efficiency and optimal product distribution.
Sales Promotion & Market Expansion:
- Plan and execute promotional activities to boost product visibility and sales.
- Expand reach in under-served and new market segments.
- Identify and implement strategies to enhance market share in existing and new regions.
Key Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales with a focus on skin care or Cosmetic brands.
- Proven experience in handling distributor networks and managing teams.
- Strong understanding of stock management distributor handling and channel development.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track sales performance and market trends.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners.
- High levels of drive and motivation to achieve and exceed targets.
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area (Kasargod to Malappuram)
- Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel for reporting and data analysis.
