Job Summary

Job Description Summary

All activities relating to enhancing services technology integrating customer data or capturing engines/products reliability availability maintenance safety and other performance parameters. Includes hourly nonexempt and exempt employees as well as manager roles responsible solely for these activities. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.
The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality volume timeliness etc.).

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Independent Professional
  • Maintain safe work environment product integrity & compliance to GE values
  • Proactive leadership within Airframer Customer Team
  • Engages independently with customer
  • Intervention reporting and related quality investigation follow-up
  • Issue work orders/dispositions to Technician team and/or coordinate/execute/oversee workscopes
  • Implement corrective actions through Daily Management for major Mx activities or engine caused disruptions as necessary
  • Respond to technical inquiries from customers
  • After hours support as necessary to meet delivery demand
  • Respond to non-technical customer inquiries
  • Data intelligence requests on aircraft status/sales/delivery/strategy
  • Deliver customer training and develop/maintain SOPs & guidelines
  • Manage local spare part/tooling inventory including import/export issues
  • Quality Management: NOE/QEM Management
  • Ledger invoice review with customer for engine work performed
  • EIS Support (customer setups)
  • Backup support for FSEs & assist customer support team as necessary
  • Engineering disposition requests as required
  • Maintain AOG responsiveness at airframer
  • Able to diplomatically navigate through volatile & potentially contentious issues

Required Qualifications

  • This role requires advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Fleet Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document plan market and execute programs.
