About the role:
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Identity and Access Management (IAM) Project Manager to lead IAM projects and initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management with some experience planning executing and overseeing IAM projects ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving continuous improvement of our IAM posture.
Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based IAM solutions such as Microsoft 365 Azure AD or Google Workspace.
- Knowledge of identity governance administration and analytics.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple IAM projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery within scope budget and quality standards.
- Define project objectives scope and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project plans timelines and milestones.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT security and business units.
- Align IAM initiatives with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest IAM trends technologies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify assess and mitigate risks within projects and the overall organization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including senior leadership IT teams security professionals and business unit leaders.
- Communicate project status progress and outcomes to various audiences both technical and non-technical.
- Manage relationships with IAM technology vendors and service providers.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports metrics and dashboards to stakeholders.
The Successful Candidate
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IAM with at least 3 years in a project management role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex IAM projects.
- Excellent project management skills including planning execution and monitoring.
- Strong communication interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- Ability to analyze complex problems develop creative solutions and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in using project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project Jira or Asana).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and risk management principles.
