Description

Job Title: HR Coordinator

Position Reports to: Human Resources Manager

Status: Part-time

Schedule: Monday through Wednesday 8am-5pm

Location: Gunnison Utah

Position Overview:
The HR Coordinator will support the HR department by assisting with day-to-day operations and administrative tasks. This role will handle entry-level HR functions including employee support timecard adjustments recruiting coordination and company events. The ideal candidate will be approachable detail-oriented and comfortable communicating with employees at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general HR support to employees and managers by responding to questions and directing inquiries as appropriate.

  • Assist with timecard adjustments and payroll-related data entry.

  • Support the recruiting process by posting jobs screening resumes scheduling interviews and coordinating with hiring managers.

  • Assist with new hire onboarding tasks including document collection system entry and orientation preparation.

  • Help plan and execute company events employee engagement activities and HR initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems as needed.

  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing data entry and correspondence.

Qualifications:

  • 12 years of administrative HR or related experience preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint).

  • Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new HRIS and payroll systems quickly. Experience in Paycom/Infor is a plus!

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

  • Comfortable speaking with employees and job applicants in person and on the phone.

  • Dependable resourceful and able to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Flexible and willing to assist with a wide range of HR-related tasks.

Schedule:
Part-time 2530 hours per week.
