Our client a beautifully renovated nursery in the heart of Farnham is seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join their growing team. Just minutes from Farnham train station the nursery offers a warm home-from-home environment where children thrive through play curiosity and a bespoke curriculum designed to let them shine.

As a Nursery Room Leader you will guide and inspire a dedicated team within one of the nurserys rooms. Youll create an engaging and nurturing learning environment where children can explore grow and develop at their own pace.

This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about child-led learning confident in leading a team and motivated by making a lasting impact on childrens early years.

What Were Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience leading a nursery room within a childcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of child development and a passion for child-led play-based learning.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support colleagues.
  • A proactive positive and caring attitude with a genuine love for working with children and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mentor and support your team to deliver high-quality early years care and education.
  • Champion the EYFS framework and ensure the nurserys bespoke curriculum is at the heart of daily practice.
  • Create a safe stimulating and inclusive environment where children can explore and learn freely.
  • Build strong trusted relationships with families and involve them in their childs development journey.
  • Ensure safeguarding health and safety and nursery policies are always upheld.
  • Drive team development through coaching reflective practice and peer observations.
