As the PPG CMS Site Supervisor you will oversee PPGs vendor-managed inventory (VMI) program supporting the supply of chemicals to aerospace manufacturing operations. You will serve as the primary liaison between Customers and PPGs warehouse operations ensuring efficient inventory management and high service levels. Reporting directly to the Chemical Management Services Leader will lead a team of five onsite PPG employees and collaborate to meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the onsite VMI program ensuring accurate chemical supply to manufacturing operations.
Be the main contact between the customer and PPGs warehouse and supply chain teams.
Monitor and report on measurements ensuring continuous improvement.
Prioritize customer requirements and organize daily responsibilities for the onsite team.
Collaborate with internal departments including supply chain procurement warehousing quality and EHS to fulfill customer needs.
Make strategic decisions to optimize inventory levels reduce working capital and ensure deliveries.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in supply chain Business or a related field equivalent experience considered.
Minimum of 35 years of experience in inventory management supply chain or operations leadership.
3 years of experience managing teams in a customer-facing environment.
Proficiency in data analysis and Measurement tracking; experience with inventory management systems.
Knowledge of chemical handling and safety protocols.
We ask that you are a U.S. citizenship or Lawful permanent residents due to federal export control regulations (ITAR)
A base salary for this position would range from $75000 - $82500 annually.
