Shift Pattern: Continental Shifts

Syntech Recruitment are exclusively supporting a high-precision manufacturer in Waterford Ireland to build out a full CNC Turning shift from the ground up. This is an exciting opportunity to join a cutting-edge facility with strong values around quality progression and people.

CNC Turner Responsibilities:

• Operating CNC Turning or Sliding Head lathes
• Setting up machines for repeat or new production runs
• Approving first-off and in-process parts
• Troubleshooting issues and escalating where necessary
• Mentoring junior team members (for senior levels)
• Supporting NPI setups and continuous improvement projects

CNC Turner Requirements:

Experience operating CNC lathes (Turning or Sliding Head)
Ability to read and work from technical drawings
Confidence with in-process quality checks
Setter/Programmer experience is highly desirable
Collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn or mentor
