Key Responsibilities of a Stores Operative:
- Performing manual stock checks (counting and recording stock levels)
- Data entry and system updates using Excel Office and ERP
- Stock control including F.I.F.O and stock rotation
- General stores operative duties within a precision engineering environment
Requirements for the Stores Operative Role:
- Previous experience as a stores operative or in Warehousing Stores or Goods In (Manufacturing Engineering Industrial etc.)
- IT literate confident using Windows-based ERP systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Keen eye for detail and ability to follow stock control procedures
