Job Description

We are looking for a world-class researcher to help us solve challenging problems in personalization science using the latest advances in machine learning. With your expertise we want to develop novel solutions to power personalized experiences across the TV App that enriches the lives of our customers. You will have the incredible opportunity to see your solutions deployed at Apples truly incredible global are expected to have:Deep knowledge of machine learning-powered personalization algorithms design patterns and particular thisincludes deep learning reinforcement learning and unsupervised learning of generative artificial intelligence applied to recommendation real-world experience with building scalable recommendation grasp of the open-source Python ML/AI tech stack including Tensorflow PyTorch scikit-learn numpy scipyand competence in production-quality software with big data written & oral communication will:Develop and apply state-of-the-art machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to personalize user human evaluation and rigorous experiments to test and improve your insights from experimentation and convert them into feature production quality code to deploy your models at a global to the scientific literature through publications and participation in leading academic chart the future growth of personalization across Apples services ecosystem.

Masters degree (Ph.D. preferred) in computer science information science machine learning deep learning NLP computational linguistics or related technical field. 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience with some combination of Spark Java Scala Python R Tensor-flow.
Strong knowledge of text mining Big Data NLP and Large Language Models.
Experience with large distributed systems and performance tuning.
Ability to handle high workload and multiple responsibilities.
Exceptional written & oral communication skills.
Experience working with large text corpora and/or metadata.
Familiarity/experience working on recommender systems and/or applications of generative AI for recommendations and personalization
