Make a Difference
The Director of Compensation is responsible for the overall strategy management and administration of employee broad-base and variable Compensation programs within the organization. This job will play a crucial role in designing implementing and maintaining competitive and cost-effective Compensation programs to attract motivate and retain talent while ensuring alignment with Human Resources objectives and industry standards. This role will be part of a Total Rewards leadership team reporting to the Vice President of Total Rewards. The Director Compensation will also:
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards while maintaining internal equity and market competitiveness
Collaborate with HR Finance and senior leadership to support talent acquisition retention and performance initiatives
Oversee compensation systems analytics and team leadership to drive operational excellence and strategic insights
Develop communication strategies to educate leaders and employees on compensation programs and philosophy
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with all levels of the organization have excellent communication and relationship building skills and a positive attitude toward problem-solving. The Director of Compensation should have:
Bachelors Degree
5 (five) or more years of experience managing people and programs at a manager level or above
7 (seven) or more years of experience in a compensation role
Ability to develop a clear realistic and actionable vision and provide a results oriented strategy
Ability to use customer service skills to provide an exceptional experience
Ability to build motivate and lead high performing team
Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to manage projects and assignments from start to completion
Ability to think critically and independently resolve problems
Ability to effectively research and analyze findings to produce actionable information
Ability to ensure efficient workflow and implement best practices and process improvements
