BCBA Contractor Opportunity in New Castle DE!
Are you aBoard Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)looking for a flexible impactful role in a supportive school environment Join Devereux as anIndependent ContractorinColonial School District located inNew Castle DE.
Location:Colonial School District New Castle DE
Schedule:23 days/week 9:00 AM 3:00 PM (school hours)
Compensation:$80$90/hour (based on experience)
Employment Type:1099 Contract
What Youll Do:
- Provide behavioral support to students with intensive needs
- Conduct FBAs develop PBSPs supervise RBTs and train staff
- Collaborate with a team of BCBAs behavioral health professionals and educators
- Support school-wide systems for social-emotional learning
- Engage in research initiatives and attend conferences with financial support

About Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions (DESS):
Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions (DESS) is a comprehensive initiative made up of five specialized divisions: the Center for Effective Schools the Center for Resilient Children Direct Care Training Resources the Center for Autism Educational Services and the Center for Mental Health Services. These divisions offer a range of in-person and virtual services designed to improve academic behavioral and emotional outcomes across educational settings. Key services include consultation to strengthen multi-tiered systems of support training in evidence-based and trauma-informed practices program reviews classroom management support and placement of mental health therapists in schools.

Qualifications
- Masters degree from an accredited behaviorally-focused program in Special Education Psychology or a related field
- BCBA certification
- Candidates who have completed all fieldwork supervision hours and are scheduled to take the BCBA exam are also encouraged to apply
- Experience delivering direct behavior analytic services to individuals with autism spectrum disorders or behavioral challenges
- At least one year of experience consulting or working within a public school setting is preferred
- Willingness to travel as part of the role.
