UnspecifiedCollins aerospace is looking to hire Machine Operator - Weekend Day; who will operate Fastems automated machinery to produce aircraft parts within the cell.
Work Location: Oakville Facility Ontario Canada
Shift Hours Weekend Day Friday - Sunday (6:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m.)
What You Will Do
- Setup machinery by loading and unloading aircraft parts into the machine.
- Start and run machinery as per standard procedures.
- Work alongside with Machinist to optimize machines and produce quality parts.
- Monitor performance of the process to meet drawing requirements.
- Monitor machine operation and troubleshoot where necessary & report problems
- Perform inspection of parts produced with high degrees of accuracy to comply with OSV requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- Support and promote continuous improvement 5S activities and Standard Work Development in the cell
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications We Require
- Typically requires Grade 12 diploma with a minimum of one year of relevant Machine Operator experience in a manufacturing environment.
- The selected candidate must be eligible to work in Canada; successful candidate must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Demonstrated ability to operate and use an overhead crane in a safe manner.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
- Willingness to train in the cell and to work overtime.
