The Opportunity

As State Sales Manager Visy Board NSW youll lead a team of 16 (including 6 direct reports) to deliver profitable sales growth across NSW.

This is a pivotal leadership role within Visy Board NSW responsible for shaping and executing sales strategy strengthening customer partnerships and fostering a high-performance safety-first culture.

Youll collaborate closely with Operations Commercial Design and National Sales teams while also representing Visy Board NSW externally across customers distributors and industry groups.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Championing safety leadership and embedding a strong safety culture across your team.
  • Delivering sustainable and profitable sales growth in line with budget and margin targets.
  • Developing and executing a 35 year sales strategy aligned with Visys broader goals.
  • Strengthening customer engagement retention and satisfaction through proactive account management.
  • Driving new business development across territories opposition accounts and growth segments.
  • Leading coaching and developing your team with a focus on succession engagement and wellbeing.
  • Partnering across the business to deliver continuous improvement and customer-focused solutions.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Proven success in sales leadership within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 5 years experience with Visy products and customers.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to achieve growth and margin improvement targets.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Degree in Business Marketing or Sales (preferred) plus a valid drivers licence.
  • Resilience customer focus and the ability to thrive under pressure while delivering results.
