TE TRANGA I THE ROLE:

Were looking for four Media Operators to join Sky on a six-month fixed term contract. These roles will support the delivery of an exciting new project across the business where youll play a key part in ensuring content is prepared processed and published to the highest standard.

Based in our Media Operations department youll manage and process media files and live content for linear replays online platforms production and archive. This includes captioning and publishing to online platforms.

Please note: These roles require flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating shift roster.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Operating media systems and applications to process prepare and publish content.
• Evaluating programme material to ensure it meets broadcast and technical standards.
• Ingesting and capturing live and scheduled content for use across platforms.
• Completing tasks such as closed captioning publishing and preparation of live sport replays.

Youll bring a keen interest in media strong technical aptitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Youre adaptable detail-focused and comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Essential

• Works equally well on their own or within a team environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to work shift work including overnights and overtime.
• Computer literate with file management skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Preferred

• Organised approach to work with strong attention to detail.
• Personal motivation to develop within the broadcast & media industry.
• Self-motivated resourceful able to multi-task with exceptional time management.
• Ability to think clearly during peak workload and challenging situations.
• Enjoys working with sport and entertainment-oriented programming.
