Job Description

Reporting to the Dynamic and Spatial Systems Analysis group you will be involved in projects related to energy adoption social acceptance the development of communication strategies and various studies. Responsibilities include developing creating and editing communication materials as well as participating in community events. Strong writing and editing skills along with relevant experience are essential for this role.
This team works a 9x80 schedule onsite at our Research Education Campus facility in Idaho Falls ID. Start date and duration of internship vary based on project and student availability. You may be eligible for course credit for this internship if approved by your university.
Minimum Requirements:
- Masters student enrolled full time at an accredited college/university studying Social Science Political Science Communications Nuclear Safety or related field.
- A minimum overall 3.0 GPA
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (including CPT and OPT)

Compensation and Benefits:
- Undergraduate Internships ($26.16/hour - $31.47/hour)
- Masters Internships and PhD Internships Pre-Candidacy ($32.87/hour - $35.26/hour)
- PhD Internships Post-Candidacy ($35.95/hour - $38.41/hour)
- Eligible interns are provided paid holiday time off and many of our internships offer travel reimbursements.
- Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on degree field and level of education.
