Location: Santa Monica California United States
Responsibilities:
- Providing antepartum intrapartum and postpartum nursing care.
- Monitoring fetal heart rate and high-risk pregnancies.
- Assisting with vaginal deliveries and Cesarean sections.
- Performing newborn care including assessments and procedures.
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Documenting patient care accurately and completely.
- Floating to postpartum unit as needed.
- Performing couplet care (newborn and maternal).
- Monitoring fetal heart rate and high-risk pregnancies.
- Assisting with vaginal deliveries and Cesarean sections.
- Performing newborn care including assessments and procedures.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- ACLS AWHONN Advanced BCLS NRP and FHM certifications.
- Experience with fetal heart monitoring and high-risk pregnancy management.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) documentation (Epic).
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with postpartum care.
- Experience with AYA (adolescent and young adult) patients.
- Experience with AYA (adolescent and young adult) patients.
Special Considerations:
- No on-call requirements.
- Floating to postpartum is required if needed.
- Every other weekend is required.
- 50-mile radius for travel.
- Pending licenses are not accepted.
- RTO (return to office) must be included at time of submission.
- Facility allows for one call-off per two-week pay period.
- Floating to postpartum is required if needed.

Scheduling:
- Every other weekend required.
- Block scheduling may be possible per manager discretion.
