Job Description

We are assisting our client in the hiring of a Legal Practice Assistant for their Wilmington DE office. They employ 1000 attorneys practicing across North America and Europe. They are ranked among the top 100 law firms in America.

Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience as a legal assistant
  • Must have experience in bankruptcy law and general litigation
  • Delaware Bankruptcy Court filing experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Document processing and project management skills
  • Experience with a document management program (iManage DeskSite preferred)
Responsibilities:
  • File various court documents in the Delaware Bankruptcy courts
  • Provide administrative support for paralegals and attorneys
  • Communicate with clients regarding appointments and other matters
  • Process attorney daily time summaries expense reports and travel arrangements
  • Coordinate and calendar all pertinent meetings and associated deadlines
  • Assist with client billing using the firms program
  • Draft correspondence to clients and the judiciary
  • Prepare and submit new client and/or new matter forms and sub-files
