JOB SUMMARY
The UConn-URI Navy STEM Coalition part of the National Institute for Undersea Vehicle Technology (NIUVT) within UConns College of Engineering seeks qualified applicants for an Administrative Program Support 1 or 2. The UConn-URI Navy STEM Coalition seeks to establish a long-term STEM pipeline program for naval-related careers in Southeast New England. The program engages with students ranging from elementary school to graduate school in innovative naval-focused activities and hands-on projects including participation from the regional Navy community to provide early and frequent interaction and ultimately retention of students from this community. Working under the direction of the program leadership the successful candidate will work in coordination with existing program staff to provide planning and administrative support for the Advancing Naval Careers Through Higher Education Outreach and Research (ANCHOR) contract awarded to the University of Connecticut.

APPOINTMENT TERMS
This is a full-time end-dated appointment. Other rights terms and conditions of employment are contained in the collective bargaining agreement between the University of Connecticut and the University of Connecticut Professional Employees Association (UCPEA).
