This is a Hybrid role that will be expected to work onsite 4 days a week as business needs dictate.

The Demand Planner will be responsible for integrating functions of Business Development Finance Operations Planning Customer Service and Supply Chain to develop demand plans that support the business of responsibilities includes integration of customerprovided forecast vehicle production schedulesconstraints and financial plan while reporting OTD developing build to stock recommendations creating burn down plans forecasting sales and ad hoc reporting.

What You Will Do

  • Generate 5 year forecastin collaboration with Business Development customer service and vehicle production schedule
  • Collaboratein demand review meetings with BD Ops and finance
  • Review and make adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends
  • Prepare report and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to management (forecast accuracy inventory plan vs target OTD and sales forecast)
  • Continuously improve forecasting techniques method and approach
  • Conduct forecasting analysis and ensure that the forecasting methods and being followed
  • Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating the sales forecast (historical sales market trends seasonality promotions and inventory levels)
  • Establish and utilize best statistical models and tools in creating forecasts and inventory targets

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Prior experience in Demand Planning and Forecasting
  • Experience with Excel including Pivot tables and VLookUp
  • Experience Data Synthesis
  • Travel as business needs dictate- 10% a year

Qualifications We Prefer

  • SAP experience
  • Demonstrated leadership in Demand Planning and Forecasting by effectively coordinating cross-functional efforts and driving alignment across all areas
  • Skilled in synthesizing and analyzing complex data sets to draw meaningful insights and support high-impact decision-making

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.
