Technology Services Specialist I Scottsdale AZ



The Opportunity:


The Technology Services Specialist I is responsible for providing technical support to end-users ensuring the resolution of issues related to computer systems software and devices. This role ensures smooth daily operations and delivers excellent customer service to all Firm employees.

Key Responsibilities:


Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Respond to end-user requests for technical assistance and support.
  • Log all end-user requests into the technical ticketing system for tracking and resolution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to computers applications systems devices access and performance.
  • Escalate issues to higher-level teams or departments as needed for timely resolution.


Documentation & Knowledge Management

  • Document solutions and create how-to guides for both internal departmental use and end-user reference.
  • Utilize solution databases and other resources to research and resolve technical problems effectively.


Collaboration & Communication

  • Advise users on best practices and steps to resolve issues and prevent future occurrences.
  • Maintain clear and open communication with users and other teams regarding ongoing issues and solutions.
  • Develop positive working relationships with Firm employees to ensure smooth interactions and prompt issue resolution.


Continuous Learning & Development

  • Stay informed about industry trends emerging technologies and best practices.
  • Actively seek opportunities to expand knowledge and skills through research and professional development.


Additional Duties

  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of accounting and financial processes terms and concepts to assist with technology-related needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.


Qualifications:


Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Information Technology support or a related field.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to address a variety of hardware software and network issues.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service-focused attitude.
  • Hold an active drivers license.


Preferred:

  • Experience working with Accounting (CPA) firms and accounting industry specific software.
  • Experience using the ServiceNow ticketing system.
  • Experience working in a Helpdesk environment.
  • Experience working with Fortinet Firewalls andHP Aruba networking equipment.
  • Experience working with Microsoft products (Microsoft Entra ID Microsoft Active Directory Microsoft Azure Microsoft 365 office suite Windows Server OS Windows OS etc).
  • Experience working with VMWare products.

What Can You Expect


  • Initial phone screening of qualified candidates.
  • Panel interview with a member of Human Resources and partner and staff who this position will interact with for candidates who advance from initial phone screen.
  • Secondary panel interview may be required if multiple candidates from the initial panel interview are selected.
