A CNC manufacturing engineer is responsible for planning designing and optimizing CNC machining processes using CAM software to program machines select tools and ensure the efficient production of precision components. Their duties include analyzing technical specifications defining processes coordinating tooling collaborating with design and quality and solving production problems to ensure quality and project objectives.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years in CNC programming and process engineering preferably in aerospace or other high-precision industries.
Proficiency in CATIA Manufacturing VERICUT simulation iCAM post-processing and strong G-code skills.
Ability to program and optimize 5-axis mills 3-axis lathes 5-axis routers and 5-axis laser systems.
Expertise in developing cutting strategies for aluminum Inconel and titanium alloys.
Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings tolerances and specifications and to adapt processes to floor conditions.
Experience in establishing in-process and final inspection points; ability to operate CMMs and precision gauges; capable of performing self-audits.
Leadership in Lean initiatives including 5S Kaizen SMED events PFMEA and process capacity improvements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective time management; clear cross-functional communication.
