Job Overview
Podar Education Network is seeking a Junior Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Mumbai or Navi Mumbai. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in clinical psychology. The candidate will work within our educational framework to support the mental health and well-being of students.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in cognitive behavioral therapy to effectively address students mental health issues and foster positive changes.
- Strong skills in patient assessment to accurately diagnose psychological conditions and create effective treatment plans.
- Experience in psychological testing for evaluating and understanding the cognitive and emotional functioning of students.
- Ability to provide mental health counseling offering guidance and support during individual or group therapy sessions.
- Case management skills to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment for students requiring ongoing psychological support.
- Excellent report writing skills to clearly document assessments treatment plans and progress notes for communication with stakeholders.
- Understanding of confidentiality and ethical guidelines in handling sensitive student information and providing care responsibly.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and engage effectively with students and parents.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct student assessments to identify psychological needs and formulate appropriate intervention strategies.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support students in managing stress anxiety depression and other issues.
- Participate in developing tailor-made treatment plans focused on enhancing students academic and personal development.
