Were looking for a knowledgeable customer-focused Automotive Parts Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our growing team.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Parts Shipping & Receiving Clerk. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving of automotive parts and ensuring that all inventory is accurately recorded and efficiently processed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive inspect and document incoming parts and materials.
- Prepare and package automotive parts for shipment ensuring proper handling and packaging standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory shipments and receipts in the inventory management system.
- Coordinate with vendors and freight carriers to manage shipping logistics.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist in stock replenishment.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal teams and customers regarding parts availability and order status.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred.
- Proficient in using computers and inventory management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
