As the Sr. Manager of the Mechanical Engineering group you will lead a diverse and motivated team of engineers specializing in mechanical engineering and semiconductor solutions primarily based in Fremont.
Your role will involve serving as a coach and mentor fostering the growth of your team members in both competencies and skills while promoting a collaborative and innovative work environment. You will coordinate various projects ensuring their accurate completion and cost-effectiveness while highlighting the teams expertise in optomechanical system design stages lasers optics and cooling solutions. Additionally you will handle relationships with suppliers and development partners negotiating and managing contracts to ensure outstanding quality and efficiency in project implementation. By working closely with module and system architects you will help define and enhance current and future competencies in EFA product development.
Beyond management you will actively contribute to direct design efforts providing technical guidance and expertise to solve complex engineering challenges. Your planning proficiency is vital in harmonizing the teams goals with the companys objectives supporting the creation of long-term strategies for the mechanical engineering group. Your experience communication skills and ability to foster a collaborative team environment will be crucial in leading your team to success.

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $163100.00$210000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
