Responsibilities
Performs a range of support activities that primarily include procuring tracking maintaining and safeguarding all OR supplies instrumentation and equipment to ensure that OR schedules are executed in an efficient timely and cost-effective manner.
Work includes assisting in the preparation and administration of the budget for OR supplies and capital equipment and the collection/review of data to identify cost savings/expense reduction opportunities. An incumbent works closely with OR Finance team and Materials Management to ensure proper new product process and to include handling of OR supplies charge tickets procedure cards case carts and materials management inventory.
Qualifications
Education/Work Experience Requirements
Two years of related work experience in an acute care hospital that demonstrates the attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills and abilities.
