Job Description
We are seeking a Guest Service Representativeto join our team at the Holiday Inn Mishawaka. As the first point of contact for our guests you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive guest experience. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented customer-focused individual to thrive in a fast-paced and rewarding hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Handle guest inquiries complaints and requests efficiently and professionally.
- Process guest reservations cancellations and modifications using our reservation system.
- Provide guests with information about the hotels services amenities and local attractions.
- Handle cash credit card and billing transactions with accuracy.
- Ensure the front desk area is neat organized and welcoming.
- Assist with guest check-outs and ensure all billing is correct.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to meet guest needs.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests by following hotel procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude friendly demeanor and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
