About the role

Roku is seeking a forward-thinking and detail-oriented Reverse Logistics Specialist to optimize the post-sales lifecycle of our products. This role is critical for ensuring effective management of product returns refurbishments and the overall reverse supply chain process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reverse logistics inventory management and supply chain operations as well as a commitment to improving processes and enhancing the customer experience.

What youll be doing

  • Manage and optimize the reverse logistics process encompassing product returns refurbishment decommissioning and disposal to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with third-party service providers and internal partners to ensure a seamless timely disposition and cost-effective reverse supply chain.
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal departments such as Accounting Engineering Customer Service and Sales to facilitate efficient movement and resolution of returned products.
  • Oversee training and communication with service providers regarding reverse logistics processes product updates and service-level expectations.
  • Monitor and report on the status of returned products spare parts and inventory using key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinate the movement of spare parts and returned merchandise between warehouses and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with Accounting Sales Customer Service and Engineering teams to ensure adherence to timelines and cost targets for reverse logistics activities.
  • Drive process improvements and cost reduction initiatives within the reverse logistics domain to enhance overall operational efficiencies.
  • Provide detailed reporting on reverse logistics activities trends and opportunities for improvement to key stakeholders.
  • Support initiatives that promote sustainability and minimize waste aligning with corporate environmental and social responsibility goals.

Were excited if you have

  • Must be located in the Austin TX area.
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in reverse logistics preferably in the consumer electronics or technology industry.
  • Strong organizational analytical and project management skills with the ability to handle competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external partners.
  • Knowledge of reverse logistics best practices inventory systems and metrics for success.
  • Experience with ERP systems and logistics software; knowledge of NetSuite is desirable.
  • A results-oriented team player with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
