Wilson Elsers Birmingham office is currently seeking a Senior General Liability Attorneywith experience in general liability personal injury transportation and/or catastrophic is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with 8 years of litigation experience to grow in their careers with exposure to a wide variety of prominent national clients and by taking on substantial litigation responsibilities. Working directly with in-house counsel the attorney in this role will have the exciting opportunity to interact directly with sophisticated clients that we represent as well as with teams of our own talented experienced professionals.

Responsibilities
- Independently manage a litigation caseload working cases from beginning to end
- Work closely and collaborate with other attorneys and partners
- Regular trial preparation investigation court appearances mediations and depositions
- Communicate with clients and provide reports
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in Alabama
- 8 years of defense litigation
- Experience with defending Personal Injury General Liability Catastrophic Injury Transportation and other civil litigation matters preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Client-facing experience preferred
- Ability to integrate into a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Legal project management experience is helpful
- First chair trial experience a plus
