Job Title: Sr. Manager Human Resources - Therapeutic Dermatology (Rx Field)

Job Location: Boston

Job Summary

The Senior Manager Human Resources (Field HRBP) partners directly with leaders and teams across the Therapeutic Dermatology business to drive talent strategies and people initiatives that enable strong performance and engagement. Acting as the first point of contact for employees and managers in the field this role supports business leaders with workforce planning employee relations talent development and recruiting. The Senior Manager also collaborates closely with the Employee Relations Lead Talent Lead and broader HR team to ensure alignment with enterprise HR practices and organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities

Business Partnership & Field Support

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for field-based leaders and teams within Therapeutic Dermatology.
  • Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with business goals driving a culture of accountability collaboration and inclusion.
  • Provide coaching guidance and support to managers on day-to-day people matters.

Employee Relations

  • Partner with Employee Relations Lead to assist in the management of employee relations cases including documentation and coordination for performance improvement plans (PIPs) disciplinary actions and conflict resolution. Complete case summary reports.
  • Maintain a log of ER cases and ensure consistent application of company policies and compliance with applicable laws.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders in navigating performance and conduct matters.

Recruitment & Workforce Planning

  • Manage the compensation approval process for headcount and new positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers and the Recruiting team to oversee open roles ensuring timely alignment between business needs and recruiting strategies.
  • Support onboarding processes and provide a seamless transition for new hires into the business.

Talent & Performance Management

  • Collaborate with the HR Manager HRBP and Talent Lead to support the talent review process succession planning and leadership development efforts for the business unit.
  • Facilitate performance management and development discussions ensuring consistency and effectiveness across Therapeutic Dermatology
  • Provide insights on workforce trends and recommend strategies to strengthen talent pipelines within the business unit.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all federal state and local labor laws as well as internal HR policies.
  • Partner with HR Operations and HRIS teams to maintain accurate employee data and reporting within the business unit.
  • Perform other related duties or ad-hoc projects as required and assigned for the HR team.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in an HRBP HR Manager or field facing HR role.
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations workforce planning and U.S. employment law.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with leaders to drive talent performance and engagement strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
  • Highly organized with strong execution skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP formulas data modeling).
  • Experience with payroll/HRIS systems such as ADP Workday or similar platforms.
  • Excellent attention to detail analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Growth and learning mindset is a must.
  • Ability to interpret complex problems and think strategically to provide solutions.
  • High level of confidentiality ethics and integrity.
