This role will focus on designing and developing large-scale ETL pipelines real-time streaming applications and cloud-native data platforms that power business-critical this role youll build and operate massive-scale integrated cloud services that power our next-gen analytics platform. Youll work on a lights-out data pipelinethe backbone of FDIthat manages the data warehouse for customers across the globe. Responsibilities
What Youll Do
- Architect and implementend-to-end ETL and real-time data pipelinescapable of handling petabyte-scale workloads.
- Build and optimizereal-time processing frameworksusing Spark Streaming Kafka.
- Writeclean performant and maintainable codein Scala (Python/Java a plus).
- Collaborate with data scientists product managers and platform engineers to enable robustdata-driven solutions.
- Define and enforcebest practicesfor CI/CD testing observability and monitoring in data engineering workflows.
- Drivesystem design and technical strategyfor high-scale distributed systems.
- Providetechnical mentorshipand help grow engineering talent within the team.
- Drive innovation in data engineering best practices architecture and tooling within a cloud-native environment.
Qualifications:
- BS or higher degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or equivalent with 12 years of applied experience
- 12 years of experience in software engineering with a focus onlarge-scale data systems and machine learning platforms
- Expert-level proficiency inApache Spark(batch and streaming).
- Strong command ofScala; additional experience with Python or Java preferred.
- Proven experience buildinglarge-scale data pipelinesandreal-time data processing systems.
- Hands-on experience withcloud-native data solutions(OCI AWS GCP or Azure).
- Proven ability toarchitect distributed systems and pipelinesfor real-time and batch processing.
- Experience intechnical leadership mentoring and driving best practicesacross engineering teams.
- Excellentproblem-solving communication and cross-functional collaborationskills.
- Ability toinfluence architecture decisionsand set technical direction across teams.
- Prior experience withOracle CloudorOracle Analyticsis a big plus

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96800 to $251600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus equity and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
