Job Summary
RN - Nursing Admin Supervisor (Night Shift)
Location: Newburyport MA 01950
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour Nights
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $2736 - $2952; (Negotiable based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the House Supervisor overseeing all clinical operations during assigned shifts.
- Lead bed management patient admissions transfers and discharges.
- Coordinate patient flow in collaboration with nursing units and ancillary departments.
- Manage staffing levels ensuring appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios.
- Act as a resource nurse providing clinical and administrative support to nursing staff.
- Serve as the primary administrative contact for incident management patient issues and escalation protocols during off-hours.
- Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts (MA) required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nursing Administrative Supervisor required
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Strong leadership communication and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
