The department Financial Crime Prevention is a key department within ING NL Retail employing several hundred professionals. The department is diverse with teams working in operations to handle KYC case files while others focus on client experience policy procedures software development data management process improvements reporting and oversight.
FCP collaborates closely with various internal and global stakeholders including ING Global Compliance Data Management Legal and others. With the shared goal to ensure ING NL Retail remains compliant with regulations such as anti-money laundering (AML) laws.
KYC is a high-priority topic in the financial sector making our environment dynamic and this role you will work alongside the senior leadership team in the Netherlands as well as global and ING Hubs departments. As the right hand of the Head of FCP NL you will be exposed to many interactions in the FCP domain and this capacity you will need to build strong relationships across multiple functions and different lines of defence.
Your key responsibilities
You will support and advise the FCP Department Head in the performance of day-to-day activities and by contributing towards the strategy development and implementation.
Where necessary you will draw up implement guarantee and monitor internal business processes. You will also act as a linking pin for other business units to enable effective and efficient operations. You will work on assigned (intra/interbank) programs and activities with delegated authorization and exercising a high level of influence throughout the department.
Your scope of responsibilities will cover all dimensions of the FCP environment. The focus of your assignments can vary over time depending on the priorities of the department and will be determined together with the Head of the FCP department. You should have the ability to understand the global picture and main strategic drivers of the bank and of the FCP domain.
