Lead Operation Specialist - Upstream Chemical

Our Chemicals team oversees our chemical technology solutions for hydrocarbon and gas production transportation and processing. We are a leader in oil and water separation technology and in solutions to control corrosion scale wax souring and bacteria. We provide chemicals and support for integrity management flow assurance and production optimization manage water treatment and resolve environmental issues.

As Lead Operation Specialist will provide a vital service by implementing monitoring and evaluating chemical delivery systems. You will work and adapt to our ever-changing job requirements daily to satisfy our customer requirements. You will support our operation and coordinating internally from office and field sites.

As a Lead Operation Specialist - Upstream Chemical you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and overseeing all aspects of production chemistry supply and service contracts to ensure successful delivery to our customers

  • Providing on-site technical guidance and support for production operations process engineering commercial and operational queries

  • Monitoring troubleshooting and optimizing of chemical treatment programs to provide support to the production operations group

  • Preparing of technical reviews and proposals of new chemical solutions to share with our customers

  • Organizing routine production chemical reviews and selection activities to verify changing customer needs


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering Chemistry Science or related fields

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in Upstream Production Chemicals Application & Operations

  • Have knowledge in process optimization and production chemistry.

  • Has onshore / offshore operation experience.

  • Be a self-starter proactively taking the initiative to solving problems and providing resolutions

  • Demonstrate computer skills and be familiar with MS Office

  • Have client and team management experience
