The Opportunity
This position is located in Tel Aviv in the Abbott Nutrition (AN) Division.
We are seeking a dedicated and experiencedQuality Assurance Managerto lead QA operations within our Abbott Nutrition affiliate in Israel. This role is pivotal in maintaining high-quality standards ensuring regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement across our quality systems.
What Youll Do
- Lead and manage the affiliates Quality Assurance operations.
- Maintain and control quality systems aligned with Abbotts global procedures and local regulations.
- Ensure QA policies and procedures are current and compliant.
- Coordinate and deliver training programs related to the Affiliate Quality System.
- Oversee validation processes and approve master validation plans and protocols.
- Manage customer complaints and NC/CAPA systems using designated IT platforms.
- Conduct internal audits and facilitate external audits and inspections.
- Provide QA oversight for warehouse distributor and TPM operations.
- Responsible for local product release and disposition.
- Evaluate and monitor supplier performance in line with divisional policies.
Required Qualifications
- Min. Bachelors degree in Quality Assurance Pharmacy Science or a medical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QA within the Nutrition or Pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of GDP and GMP is beneficial.
- People management experience is a plus.
- Hebrew language - native English fluent
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage coach and develop team member/s.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
