32.50 Working Hours 39 Weeks per Year

Fixed Term from 29 September 2025 to 17 July 2026

Bedford Drive Primary School

The Governors and Headteacher of Bedford Drive Primary School are looking to recruit an exceptional Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant to work within Key Stage 2.

As the demand for SEND provision continues to grow there is a strong possibility that this post may become permanent.

The successful candidates will:

Have a level 2 qualification;

Has a passion for supporting the needs of all children especially those with SEND/EHCP.

Work collaboratively with staff to deliver the curriculum;

Have an understanding of and a commitment to Inclusion;

Have the ability to work as part of a team but also use own initiative when required;

Have an understanding of strategies for managing behaviour;

Be able to build and maintain effective relationships with pupils;

Adapt to changing circumstances in a positive manner;

Have a friendly fair and caring nature reliable and dependable;

Have a good sense of humour.

The closing date for applications is midday on the 15th September 2025.
