Key responsibilities
- Cooking of Short-Order meals for service
- Cook short-order meals for the caf
- Direct volunteer kitchenhands as necessary to assist in food service delivery
- Direct volunteers on food safety guidelines and issues to ensure safe food service
- Assist with writing up food orders
- Support to the Team
- Meals delivered within the directed timeframe and appropriate customer service delivery
- Clean and keep hygienic standard to kitchen and surroundings that meet food & health regulations.
- Provide encouragement to team members.
- Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
-Help Coach volunteers on efficient food service
Qualifications and skills (desired/required)
- Experience in relevant field highly desired.
- Relevant qualifications as required ie. Cert 3 Commercial Cookery DoFoodSafely Certificate
- Good communication skills both written and verbal required
