The Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer to join a fast-paced development team. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge in Linux systems administration and a background in Big Data solutions configuration management automation scripting and AWS. This role is responsible for implementing infrastructure automating deployment processes and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our services. You will also manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and collaborate with development teams to integrate their applications into the infrastructure.
What Youll Bring
5 years of experience in DevOps Engineering with a Bachelors degree 3 years with a Masters degree or 9 years with a High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong knowledge of Linux systems
Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Terraform Ansible or Puppet
Knowledge of AWS services (EC2 EBS S3 Lambda)
Ability to develop in multiple programming languages such as Python Bash or Go
Familiarity with Git
Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop Spark PostgreSQL or ElasticSearch
Experience with containers (EKS) Diode and CI/CD
Active DoD 8140/8570 certification (Security etc) is required for consideration.
Clearance Requirements
An active Secret clearance is required for consideration. Client cannot hold higher clearances (including polygraphs) and we are not able to upgrade clearances. Please note you must have the required clearance for consideration; under-cleared applicants will not receive a response.
