Role Definition

As a Wiring Technician you will wire sub-pans door devices and other pertinent power equipment with minimal supervision according to Caterpillar Switchgear Americas (CSA) standards and drawings.

What You Will Do

• Wire and route harnesss neatly with or without the use of wire loom according to CSA standards.

• Understand the difference between AC and DC voltages and able to accurately and timely perform all wiring duties on sub panels door devices and enclosures.

• Perform all other duties accurately and meet scheduled deadlines.

• Perform any other duties assigned by Team Lead Supervisor and Section Manager.

• Understand the usage of hardware such as screws bolts nuts washers etc. according to CSA Procedures Manual.

What You Will Have:

• High diploma or GED

• At least 3 years of experience working in the electrical field

• Ability to work well in a team environment

Top candidates will have:

• Ability to understand assemble and/or wire to diagrams / schematics with precise detail

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):

• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods

• Ability to perform repetitive operations

• Ability to lift to 35 lbs.

Shift

• Monday Thursday; 5AM 3:30PM Additional overtime as needed

Summary Pay Range:
