Senior Product Policy Manager, Regional Policy

We are hiring a Senior Product Policy Manager with expertise in international game ratings regional compliance and localized policy contextualization. This role will be responsible for aligning Robloxs product with global and regional norms by adapting our policies and content maturity ratings to evolving international and regional regulations and expectations. As part of this you will lead Robloxs strategy for age-appropriate content maturity and collaborate with regulators and international rating agencies.

A member of the Product Policy team you will have a global impact on our policy and safety strategy. You will collaborate internally with our product engineering business legal public policy marketing communications and operations teams to help drive the business forward on a foundation of safety & civility.

You will:

• Partner with our International Product Team as well as international rating agencies and local rating authorities to ensure compliant game ratings across various regions
• Collaborate with our Legal and Public Policy teams to articulate Robloxs Safety vision policies and standards to regulators globally
• Adapt Robloxs global policies to regional markets and work with our Moderation Operations team to ensure they are effectively enforced
• Analyze the landscape across industry and regulatory activity to proactively anticipate and address risks to Roblox and our users
• Work directly with our product and operations teams to guide the development and use of enforcement systems and safety tools for compliance with Roblox policies and local laws

You have:

• 6 years of experience in online Trust & Safety and/or Product Policy
• Subject matter expertise in age-appropriate content ratings developing rating criteria and experience partnering with international rating agencies
• Background in content policy development for global platforms with a focus on regional contextualization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; Able to distill complex issues into their core components analyze possible solutions and propose viable policy paths forward
• Strong product / technical understanding as a foundation for creative problem solving
• Experience working directly with senior company leaders and presenting to executives
• Academic background or professional experience in child development and/or creating products for children - Preferred
• Experience working on matters of international policy with global regulators and articulating complex policy issues - Preferred
• JD / Masters degree or equivalent experience
