About the role
Be part of a dynamic regional healthcare team as a Technical Officer with SA Pathology supporting vital diagnostic services across South Australia. This role offers full training across all disciplines with prior experience valued but not required. Relocation reimbursement may be available in line with guidelines and there are opportunities for professional development including travel within and outside the state. Based in Berri along the Murray River in the heart of the Riverland youll enjoy a lifestyle surrounded by vineyards citrus orchards and fresh local produce. The region is rich in national parks and river activities such as fishing camping hiking and water sports. With five close-knit towns offering sporting and community clubs the Riverland provides both professional growth and a vibrant welcoming lifestyle.
This hands-on role will see you applying your technical knowledge across areas such as Microbiology Haematology Clinical Chemistry and Transfusion Medicine. Youll collaborate with laboratory and clinical staff to ensure quality efficiency and safety while also participating in quality improvement and professional development activities. About You
Youre a technically capable and motivated individual with a passion for laboratory science and a strong commitment to accuracy and patient care.
Diploma or Advanced Diploma in an approved and recognised laboratory qualification
General lab experience with skills in sample collection data entry and diagnostic testing
Excellent communication organisation and problem-solving skills
Working With Children Check (WWCC) National Police Clearance (NPC) and subject to immunisation requirements
