Job Summary
The Technical Data Analyst will contribute toward the development and support of our business-critical data. This position will become familiar with established data architecture developing knowledge and experience with solutions that expand our solid addition the Technical Data Analyst uses technical skills to analyze data and report insights. This position will work with data team members stakeholders and partners to understand map and solve problems with data.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform data analysis on data sources including but not limited to relational flat file JSON and XML. Manage and Use Data from Source to Report.
Identify profile and map relevant data sources. Perform field mapping working with Vendors Business Analysts Business Users and SMEs as needed.
Analyze data to identify data quality errors and areas for improvement as well as recommended technical solutions; determine operational impacts and needed actions trends and elevate issues.
Troubleshoot and research data inconsistencies build a detailed understanding of the problem provide technical solution recommendations and communicate effectively to necessary stakeholders.
Support efforts to improve our Data Management such as Master Data Management (MDM) Data Governance and related information management.
Use technical skills to extract clean and analyze data investigating trends in data applying sound reasoning data analysis and data visualization translating findings into actionable insights for stakeholders.

Primary Skills & Requirements:
4 years related technical and data analytical experience required.
4 years experience with SQL server 2000 or higher required.
Ability to read and write advanced to expert level SQL queries required.
Ability to interpret data and communicate results to both technical and business stakeholders required.
Ability to reconcile multiple sources of data across multiple platforms required.
Knowledge of database management and data warehousing required.
Knowledge in data standard formats including but not limited to Acord DTCC DST DAZL etc. preferred.
Skilled in Business Intelligence tool PowerBI Tableau or equivalent preferred.
Skilled in developing predictive forecast models automated data pipelines etc preferred.
Experience in supporting Wealth platforms including Black Diamond Pershing Charles Schwab Salentica Nexus preferred.
Bachelors Degree in analytics statistics mathematics engineering computer science information systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.
